Omu Resort (2026): Ticket Tiers, Activities, Directions and Booking

Water slides and pool at Omu Resort in Ibeju-Lekki

The first thing most families want to know about Omu Resort is what it costs, and that is the one thing the resort’s own pricing page does not print as text. It lists four ticket tiers called Gold, Platinum, Prime and Super Prime, spells out what each one includes, and then gives naira figures only for children, schools and single activities. That leaves parents guessing which tier to buy and whether the cool box in the boot will be allowed in.

Below you can see what each tier covers, which prices the resort does publish and which you have to ask for, how the zoo, water park, rides and creek cruise fit into one day, and how to find the Bogije site from Ajah. The food rules, the cashless gate and the booking route are covered as well.

Omu Resort Ibeju-Lekki: Location, Hours and Contacts

Omu Resort Lagos is in Bogije Town, almost opposite Lakowe Lakes Golf Course, in the Ibeju-Lekki part of the Lekki-Epe corridor. The Sun described the site as about 22 hectares of rainforest bordered on the north by Omu Creek. It is built for day visitors, so if you want to stay overnight, our guide to resorts in Lagos with prices compares places designed for that.

Do not mix this park up with the other Omu-branded parks that the resort’s website links to in other states. The Abeokuta site, for example, sits inside the FUNAAB Zoo on Alabata Road in Ogun State and publishes its own ticket prices, which it says exclude 7.5% VAT. The Lagos pages do not say either way, so ask whether the amount you are quoted is the final figure.

The Lagos pages give opening hours of 9am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday, with Sunday starting at noon. Sunday closing is shown as 6pm on the contact page and 7pm in the homepage header, so plan to be at the exit by 6pm. The cruise timetable has separate public-holiday sailings, which suggests holidays run to their own pattern, so confirm hours before a holiday trip.

The contacts published on the resort’s website are info@omuresort.com and four phone lines, including +234 817 841 4877 and +234 811 740 8525.

Omu Resort Ticket Tiers and What Each One Covers

The Omu Resort gate fee is simply the entrance ticket, which everyone buys, and the tier decides which extras are already paid for. Each tier on the pricing page carries the note “Discounts on Online Payment Only”, but the size of the discount is not stated.

Omu Resort Price List: Published Figures and Gaps

These are the amounts printed on the resort’s own pages, before any online discount. They can change without notice.

  • Children below 10: ₦11,825, with access to everything under the Gold ticket
  • Children below 2: free
  • School excursion: ₦9,500
  • Kayaking: ₦4,000 per person
  • Roller skating: ₦3,000 per person
  • Individual hoverboard ticket: ₦4,500
  • Individual go-kart ticket: ₦9,000
  • DDT Paintball Arena: ₦10,000 per person for a shoot-out with 10 bullets and protective gear, sold only to people who already hold an entrance ticket
  • Le Chateau Guest House: listed at ₦30,000 for a standard room and ₦35,000 for a deluxe room (ask whether that is per night)

The gap is the adult price of each tier, which is not printed as text on the pricing page. A search for the Omu Resort price list 2026 brings up third-party lists from earlier years, but the official child ticket sits well above what those lists showed for children, so their adult figures should not be trusted either. Ask for the adult price of each tier, the online discount and whether VAT is added, and ask for the answer in writing.

The child rate applies to children below 10, so ask how an eleven or twelve-year-old will be ticketed before you book. Quad bikes have no published price at all.

One saving is worth working out once you have the adult prices. If only one or two people in your group want to race, compare the price gap between Platinum and Prime for the whole group with ₦9,000 for each go-kart ticket. The gap multiplied by group size is the number that decides it.

Omu Resort Activities by Zone

The park is spread out, so plan by zone and by the ages in your group. The list below follows how the website describes the attractions.

The Zoo and Seaworld

The zoo is the best-known attraction and is covered from Gold upwards, as is Seaworld. Vanguard headlined the arrival of two zebras in April 2021 as a first for Lagos. Collections change over time, so do not promise a child a particular animal. Ask staff at the gate which areas are open, stay behind barriers and never feed the animals. The website also lists an antique museum and David’s Sanctuary.

Water Park, Pool and Slides

Tide’s Wet & Wild is the water zone, with a water slide, the Rainbow Slide, a wave pool and a splash pad. The swimming pool and water park come with Gold. Opening times for the water attractions are not published, so ask when the slides run on the day you go. Pack swimwear, towels and a full change of clothes for everyone.

Rides, Play Areas and Mini Golf

The amusement park includes the Hurricane pendulum ride and a pendulum swing, with Dinosaur Alley and the kiddies play area for smaller children. Mini golf, archery and horse riding sit under Gold too, so they fill the gaps between queues. Ask about wet-weather closures when you buy, because the website does not explain them.

Go-Karts, Paintball and Quad Bikes

Go-karts come with Prime and Super Prime, or as a single ₦9,000 ticket. Paintball has its own price and needs an entrance ticket first. Minimum ages for karts, paintball and quad bikes are not published, so ask at the counter before you promise a younger child a turn.

Kayaking and the Creek Cruise

Kayaking is included from Platinum up or sold at ₦4,000. The boat cruise round Omu Creek belongs to Super Prime. The website lists sailings at 1pm and 3pm from Tuesday to Saturday, and at 2pm and 5pm on Sundays, with extra sailings on public holidays. No Monday sailing is listed.

Photos and Filming

Omu Resort Ibeju Lekki photos online show the zoo, the water park and the creek, but collections and rides change, so treat them as a guide and not a promise. Phone pictures are part of most days out. Omu Resort photos for a pre-wedding, brand or film shoot are a different matter: none of the published prices above covers one, so ask management before the day and get any fee and conditions in writing.

Food, Drinks and the Cashless Gate

The food court at Omu Resort lists three restaurants: Chateau De Delice, Mama’s Delight and Abule Buka. The website does not print menu prices, so ask to see one before ordering for a large group.

You can bring your own food, but corkage is charged on arrival according to group size:

  • 1 to 5 people: ₦6,000
  • 6 to 10 people: ₦11,000
  • 11 to 25 people: ₦22,000
  • 26 to 35 people: ₦30,000
  • 36 to 50 people: ₦40,000
  • 51 to 75 people: ₦47,000
  • 76 to 100 people: ₦55,000

A group of ten pays ₦11,000, about ₦1,100 a head, and a group of 25 pays ₦22,000, under ₦900 a head. Compare that with the menu before deciding. For a family of four, ₦6,000 is a lot to pay for sandwiches.

Payments have been cashless since 21 September 2021, according to the resort’s website. It asks guests to pay by card or online, and says a cash point on site exchanges cash for card payment with charges. Carry a card that works, and a second payment option in case the network drops at the gate.

Omu Resort Directions from Ajah and the Mainland

Set your map to Omu Resort, Bogije, Ibeju-Lekki, then check that the pin sits on Bola Tinubu Road rather than the expressway. The resort’s own directions begin at Ajah and head east along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

  1. Pass the landmarks the resort lists on your right: Lagos Business School, Corona School, Greenspring School, Mayfair Garden and Lakowe Town.
  2. After Elemoro Police Station, slow down and look to your left for the blue roofs of Elemoro Shopping Complex.
  3. Make a U-turn there and enter Bola Tinubu Road.
  4. Follow the signpost along that road to the resort.

The access road has been a problem before. In October 2021, The Sun reported that the resort and the Bogije branch of the Dredgers Association of Nigeria had started rehabilitating Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Way, after the resort’s general manager said it had become unmotorable. Ask the resort about the last stretch after heavy rain.

From the Island or the mainland you first have to reach the expressway, and that crossing decides your departure time more than the distance does. Our Third Mainland Bridge traffic guide covers the alternatives when your route starts on the mainland. The resort’s directions are written for drivers, so a private car, ride-hailing or a chartered bus for a group is the practical choice. Arrange your return before you leave, because finding a ride out at the end of the day is harder than finding one in.

Booking, Packages and What to Confirm Before You Pay

Omu Resort tickets are sold through the online payment portal that the resort’s website links to, and that portal covers more than one Omu location. Follow this order:

  1. Open the booking link from the resort’s own website and choose the Lagos park, not Abeokuta.
  2. Pick the tier that suits most of the group, then price standalone tickets for the people who want extras.
  3. Confirm the adult price, the online discount, whether VAT is added and which dates the ticket is valid for.
  4. Pay by card or online and keep the ticket reference or receipt.

Birthdays, picnics, team-building days, school excursions and corporate events are handled as packages, so contact management rather than buying individual tickets. Before paying online, ask what happens to your ticket if rain closes the rides or the water park.
